Inchaffray Whisky is an independent bottler with a twist
At Inchaffray Whisky, everything starts with barley grown onour family farm in Perthshire. For generations, Ferneyfold Farm has grown spring barley forthe Scotch whisky industry.
Rather than growing the crop and watching it leavethe farm gate, we wanted to follow it further and create a whisky with a clearconnection to the land it came from.We work with selected partners to malt, distil and matureour spirit, while remaining closely involved throughout.
We select the casks, monitor their development and individually number every bottle.
Our whiskies are released as single casks at cask strength, allowing each cask to show its own character.

“We are fascinated with the past and the evolution of Single Malt Scotch Whisky, which is why we’re so proud that history and heritage lie at the very heart of Inchaffray. Unlike today, storing grain through Scotland’s cold, wet winters was an issue centuries ago, so the produce was turned into alcohol, the by-products for use as cattle feed and fertilisers; and so began the process of self-sustaining single farm whisky. This tradition of ‘grain to glass’ is one that we are working our way towards, using the same principles and methods as the generations of farmers who worked this land before us. We think they would approve."
